viper remote start turns over but wont start

So I have no manual and The dealler maybe didnt installed it. Remote apparatus installed in dash on drivers side is clicking away madly during this behavior, like a switch being turned on and off. I no longer live in the province in which the starter was installed so I cant go back to the installer. Dealer that installed it is also gone. Why doesnt my vehicle start without the key in ignition when I remote start. the truck battery is ok. Weve disabled the alarm speaker so I cant hear it but its still going off and my park lights blink and my car clicks every 5 seconds. However they are out of business now as it was bout 3 years ago. Remote is communicating with car, but when I set it up for ready mode, there is an extra click in the dash after the normal 3, then car shuts off when key removed instead of running. Any help?
